Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools including work measurement, simulation, process mapping and facilities/workstation design.
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction.
• Knowledge of site facilities, capabilities and alignment to Jabil strategies.
• Strong financial and analytical ability.
• Proven track record in change management and cost reduction programs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with PC software and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in spoken and written Japanese with JLPT N2 or N1.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement projects to eliminate waste using standard IE processes.
• Include complex process simulation, operations research and cost analysis.
• Verify time standards within IE team.
• Update and report IE metrics for assigned customer/area.
• Drive process mapping activities and standardization of SAP and MES configurations.
• Prepare quotes for projects in the assigned area.
• Support New Product Introduction with process-related activities.
• Coach and train engineers within the IE team.
• Maintain data integrity to support process improvement across the organization.
• Ensure standard Jabil processes across the site per global/region/site direction.
• Adhere to security policies and perform other duties as assigned.
