Responsible for supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing and packaging operations through process optimization, new layout design and packaging development, packaging BKM, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency, material flow, packaging performance, and overall operational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with customer, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
2-4 years' experiences in manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial engineering principles.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for process optimization.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process documentation.
Knowledge of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and productivity analysis is an advantage.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and manufacturing process layouts is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of packaging materials, packaging methods, and product protection requirements.
Understanding of packaging optimization and cost reduction principles is an advantage.
Familiarity with packaging validation and packaging quality requirements is preferred.
Analyze and improve manufacturing and packaging processes to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and workflow analysis to optimize operational performance.
Develop and maintain process documentation including EI, WI, SOPs, process flows, and packaging specifications.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and waste reduction methodologies.
Evaluate and optimize plant layouts, material flow, workstation design, and packaging operations to improve efficiency and ergonomics.
Support new product introductions, process validations, and packaging trials to ensure manufacturing readiness and compliance with customer requirements.
Investigate manufacturing and packaging issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
Identify and implement cost reduction, standardization, automation, and Poka-Yoke opportunities across manufacturing and packaging processes.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
