Job summary

Reeracoen (Malaysia) seeks an Electrical Engineer for our Bentong facility to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of primary power supply systems and circuit management in a continuous latex processing plant.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-voltage systems and lifecycle maintenance of heavy electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee power distribution and switchgear including 11kV generators, HV and LV distribution boards, switchgear, control panels and MCBs.
• Use smart meters for continuous energy analysis and demand reduction across the facility.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on oil-based transformers, UPS systems, and main power infrastructure to minimize downtime in a 24/7 plant.
• Support electrical components for rubber thread manufacturing: heating elements, winding motors, VFDs, centrifugal systems.
• Calibrate and repair temperature, flow, and pressure instruments essential for stable latex processing.
• Ensure electrical installations and workflows meet Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and DOSH standards.
• Manage electrical upgrades, energy efficiency projects, and installation of new machinery.
