Job summary

EcoCeres in Malaysia seeks an Electrical Executive/Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of plant electrical systems. You will assist maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and improvements across MV/LV distribution, switchgear, MCCs, motors, drives, and protection systems.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures, while coordinating with operations, vendors, and OEMs to drive reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance/engineering in an industrial environment.
• Hands-on with operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Experience with preventive, corrective, predictive, and shutdown maintenance.
• Experience coordinating with technicians, contractors, vendors, and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical focal point for electrical systems within the plant area.
• Support maintenance activities, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and equipment reinstatement.
• Work with Asset Management to improve equipment reliability and eliminate recurring failures.
• Support TAR, plant modifications, MOC, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure electrical systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, load lists, and protection studies.
