Job summary

rhi is seeking a senior Indirect Sourcing Lead to shape global strategies across indirect categories, driving enterprise value and stakeholder influence. You will define and lead enterprise-wide sourcing across digital, marketing, logistics, and professional services while strengthening procurement governance and capability.

You will drive end-to-end sourcing and contracting, lead tendering and negotiations, and collaborate with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any subject area or related field.
• 8-10 years of end-to-end sourcing and contracting experience in a global setting.
• Lubricants industry experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a large, multi-cultural team.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills; demonstrated leadership.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin/Hindi preferred for regional engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Sourcing and Contracting projects across global categories.

rhi is recruiting for 6 Indirect Sourcing Leads to join our clients team on a 12-month contract.

These positions require ASAP starters

• Hybrid working arrangement (60/40)
• Working hour (8.30am - 5.30pm but flexible to manage other country stakeholder)
• Proficient in English (oral and written) language. - first language
• Proficient in Mandarin/Hindi (oral and written) language is preferred

A senior procurement role accountable for shaping and delivering global sourcing strategy across indirect categories, driving enterprise value, influencing senior stakeholders, and strengthening procurement capability across the organisation.

Define and lead Our client's enterprise-wide indirect sourcing strategy across global categories including digital, marketing and brand services, digital, professional services, logistics, workplace, HSSE, travel, contingent workforce, and MRO.

Accountable for driving global value delivery, supplier strategy, and procurement transformation, while strengthening governance, enabling consistent sourcing approaches, and enhancing procurement capability across the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

The Sourcing Lead will implement end-to-end Sourcing and Contracting projects as per business request, but not limited to the following activities:

Case Management

• Receive, implement and continuously handle a high volume of concurrent project requests via the Case Management tool, prioritising workload based on business criticality, value and risk.
• Gather and analyse market intelligence across global supply markets to advise sourcing strategies that support Our client's operational requirements, cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned to Our client's operations, including manufacturing plants, and commercial facilities, while ensuring compliance with global category strategies and governance.
• Develop the sourcing strategy and handle the associated approval processes
• Perform Suppliers' screening/prequalification/due diligence and monitor/implement the process status as per the related guidelines
• Work with category manager to define appropriate sourcing strategy to meet business requirements.
• Lead and manage tendering process including supplier clarification, evaluation and selection, ensuring fair, visible and competitive outcomes. Build and implement detailed negotiation plan to deliver the best value

Contracting

• Determine the appropriate contract template and develop the contract content based on the information contained in the Sourcing Strategy, sourcing event and/or detailed scope of work specifications
• Apply strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills to negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers to optimise total cost of ownership, risk allocation and operational flexibility for Our client, within legal and category guidance.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any subject area or related field

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of proven end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting experience, with the ability to operate independently on complex, high‑value and high‑risk sourcing cases across multiple partners.
• Experience in the lubricants industry will be an advantage.
• Experience working in a large and multi-cultural team
• Good influencing and negotiation skills, as well as proven leadership behaviors
• Proficient in English (oral and written) language. - first language
• Proficient in Mandarin/Hindi (oral and written) language is preferred, to enable effective engagement with regional suppliers and partners. - good to have Mandarin (client from China) & good to have Hindi (for India stakeholder)
• Familiarity with Ariba Source to Pay, Salesforce and ERP systems.
