Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Security Officer to lead the agency guards and assist the security team in safeguarding personnel and assets at our Penang site.

Responsibilities include conducting weekly audits, enforcing procedures, assisting investigations, and supporting emergency response. Prior security experience in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent; SPM accepted with armed forces or police experience.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum 1 year security experience at a large multinational.

Responsibilities

• Lead agency guards and supervise security duties.
• Assist in weekly security systems audits and report issues.
• Enforce security and safety procedures across the site.
• Assist investigations of security incidents or losses.
• Support security supervisor and technicians on projects.
• Respond to emergencies to protect life and property.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

To lead the agency guard in the team and assist the Senior Security Technician or Security technician in is duties to supervise the agency guards.

To assist the security technicians to carry out weekly audit of the security systems and report any irregularities or weaknesses to the senior security technician or security technician for corrective action.

To enforce the company security and safety procedures and lead the other security agency guards to ensure they carry out their security enforcement duties effectively and efficiently.

To assist the security supervisor and security technicians to carry out basic investigations of all reports of security incidents or loss and reported in the shift.

To assist the security technicians of the shift to carry out security projects or programs.

To carry out specific duties during an emergency or crisis in order to protect life and property and provide emergency services to the employees and others.

Other duties assigned by superior.

Job Requirement:

Education: Diploma or equivalent (or SPM if with experience in the armed forces or police)

Language:Conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Experience:At least 1 year working experience as security personnel at a large multinational company.
