SZY Consultants Sdn Bhd in Kuantan, Malaysia, is expanding its team and seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to support Civil & Structural and infrastructure projects. You will review drawings, technical specs, and scope of works to determine quantities and cost implications, and prepare Bills of Quantities, budgets, tender documents, and related contract paperwork.

Competenze

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or consultancy.
Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software such as CostX or Cubicost.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of local regulations and contract practices.

Mansioni

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, budgets, tender docs, and contract documentation.
Review drawings, specifications, and scope for quantities and cost implications.
Obtain and evaluate quotations for cost estimation and tender evaluation.
Assist in pre- and post-contract cost management including cost reporting.
Prepare and assess variation orders and final accounts.
Liaise with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on costs and contractual matters.
Attend project meetings and site visits for progress valuations and measurements.
