Job summary

Hirehub Group in Klang, Selangor is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage full logistics for Kuala Lumpur projects, including sea and air freight booking, customs clearance, and warehouse management. You will coordinate between site and domestic supply chain to ensure timely deliveries and cost control.

You will work with local forwarders and overseas agents, respond to urgent shipments, and maintain accurate logistics data and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years logistics experience, with hands-on knowledge of sea/air freight, customs clearance and warehousing.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin, able to communicate with overseas agents.
• Familiar with Malaysian customs policies and local import/export procedures.
• Experience in overseas projects, EPC engineering or manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in local Malaysian forwarding companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full logistics process for Kuala Lumpur projects, including sea and air freight booking, import/export customs clearance, goods pickup and warehouse management.
• Coordinate logistics connection between project site and domestic supply chain to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project materials.
• Connect with local forwarders, customs, shipping companies and trucking service providers, maintain stable cooperative relationships.
• Collaborate with on-site engineers to support material deployment and urgent shipment handling.
• Control logistics costs by inquiry and price comparison and optimize transportation plans to reduce expenses.
• Maintain logistics ledgers, compile reports and update KPI data for traceable logistics data.

Job Descriptions

• Manage the full logistics process for Kuala Lumpur projects, including sea and air freight booking, import and export customs clearance, goods pickup and warehouse management.
• Coordinate logistics connection between the project site and domestic supply chain to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project materials.
• Connect with local forwarders, customs, shipping companies and trucking service providers, establish and maintain stable cooperative relationships to ensure smooth logistics channels.
• Cooperate with on-site Chinese engineers in material deployment, and respond promptly to emergency shipment demands to support smooth project construction.
• Control logistics costs by conducting inquiry and price comparison, and continuously optimize transportation plans and methods to reduce project logistics expenses.
• Maintain logistics ledgers, compile regular reports and update KPI data to ensure authentic, accurate and traceable logistics data.

JobRequirements

• Over 3 years of relevant logistics working experience, proficient in at least two core business links among sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and warehousing.
• Proficient in oral and written English and Mandarin, able to take English as working language and communicate with overseas agents independently.
• Familiar with Malaysian customs policies and local import & export procedures is preferred.
• Practical logistics experience in overseas projects, EPC engineering or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Working experience in local logistics or forwarding companies in Malaysia is a plus.

Location: Klang, Selangor

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM), Sat (9:00AM - 1:00PM)

Salary Range: RM6,000 - 9,000
