Job summary

Multi-Trans is a Port Klang–based logistics pioneer established in 1980, with a nationwide network and over 350 staff. We are seeking a logistics professional to handle tariff classification, billing, and coordination across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in Freight Forwarding/Logistics, strong communication, and a proactive attitude. This full-time role is based in Port Klang, offering opportunities within a growing logistics group.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs tariff code classification and declaration.
• Understanding of import license requirements for shipments.
• At least 2 years in freight forwarding, logistics or transportation.
• Outgoing, proactive, and strong work ethic with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Port Klang.

Responsibilities

• Register the correct job scope for each shipment/work order in the system.
• Identify tariff codes, update workflow, perform billing/costing, and close jobs.
• Coordinate with Admin on D/O collection and liaise with relevant sections to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor operations across clearance, loading, haulage, transport, warehousing and shipping.
• Prepare payment requests, issue POs, verify invoices and follow up with transport vendors.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide status updates.
