Job summary

SINOHYDRO CORPORATION (M) SDN BHD - KOTA KINABALU is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to prepare and review designs, drawings, and technical specifications for buildings and infrastructure. You will coordinate with consultants, sub-contractors and clients to ensure safe, high-quality execution from design to construction.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BEM-registered Graduate Engineer), minimum 3 years in Civil & Structural works, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia).
• Registered Graduate Engineer with BEM.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Civil & Structural Works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or others equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Civil & Structural Design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, sub-contractors, and clients for drawing approvals and execution.
• Provide technical support during tendering, construction, and commissioning stages.
• Review contractor submissions including method statements, materials, and inspection/testing procedures.
• Support risk assessments and implements corrective actions to maintain safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian codes and local authority requirements.
