Job summary

SINOHYDRO CORPORATION (M) SDN BHD - KOTA KINABALU is seeking a QA/QC on-site professional to assist in implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures. You will conduct inspections across structural, architectural and finishing works and ensure activities comply with drawings and specifications.

Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years in construction are encouraged to apply; internships are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of experience in construction encouraged to apply.
• Internships in related field welcome to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on-site.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Mandarin language is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures on-site.
• Perform site inspections for structural, architectural and finishing works.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IR) and material submissions.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and records.
• Support testing and inspection of materials (concrete, steel, rebar).
• Identify non-conformance (NCR) issues and assist in corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers on quality matters.
• Participate in site meetings and internal quality audits.
