Job summary

LAC Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Application Specialist based in Johor to deliver technical information, training, and support for our medical equipment and assays. You will implement new instruments, troubleshoot on-site, and collaborate with global teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a science/engineering degree and 3–5 years of diagnostic lab experience, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills. Travel and on-site engagements may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant diagnostic laboratory experience.
• Strong stakeholder management with customers, key stakeholders and lab staff.
• Solid knowledge of technical assay and systems to be product expert.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities.
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
• Experience using analytical tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate technical information and advice on products to customers.
• Deliver operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site.
• Implement new instruments and assays through to Test-of-Record.
• Conduct on-site assay investigations and troubleshooting for instruments and software.
• Prepare technical documents and training reports.
• Lead technical discussions and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Host meetings and workshops to update product information.
• Track assay issues and escalate with global teams.
• Maintain customer records and access response materials.
• Collaborate with TAS and Service teams to improve workflows.
