Job summary

Mondelēz International in Shah Alam is seeking an IL6S Engineer to support the Integrated Lean and Six Sigma program at the Cadbury Shah Alam plant. You will join cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, analyze data, and apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency and product quality.

The role involves data collection, process mapping, SOP development, and workshop facilitation, with opportunities to mentor others and promote a culture of disciplined problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Internship or project experience in continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IL6S projects under the guidance of the IL6S Lead or project leader.
• Assist in the definition of project scope, goals, and objectives.
• Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines.
• Support the execution of project tasks and activities.
• Collect and analyze data using statistical tools and techniques.
• Identify trends, patterns, and root causes of problems.
• Develop charts, graphs, and reports to communicate data findings.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
• Facilitate or participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions.
• Develop and implement process improvements and SOPs.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust as needed.
• Utilize problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in IL6S training programs to develop knowledge and skills.
• Apply learned concepts and tools to real-world projects.
