Job Description :
Design IIoT architectures, device connectivity models, and data collection frameworks to support real-time operational visibility, asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making.
Evaluate, select, deploy, and configure sensors, gateways, edge devices, and industrial communication technologies to enable secure and reliable collection of operational data.
Integrate operational technology systems with enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud services, dashboards, and analytics tools to enable end-to-end visibility and actionable insights.
Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring solutions that provide real-time operational insights, performance trends, exception visibility, and decision support for business users.
Lead IIoT proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and deployments to validate technical feasibility, business value, operational impact, scalability, and implementation readiness.
Collaborate with business units, operations teams, process owners, IT, cybersecurity, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify IIoT use cases, define business requirements, and prioritise initiatives based on operational value.
Ensure data quality, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of IIoT solutions through appropriate validation, monitoring, controls, documentation, and support practices.
Monitor IIoT solution effectiveness, system performance, user adoption, and business outcomes, and recommend continuous enhancements to improve operational visibility, productivity, resilience, and long-term value.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IIoT solution development, industrial automation, OT/IT integration, sensor deployment, data acquisition, industrial networking, manufacturing systems, or related digital operations roles.
Professional certifications or hands‑on experience in IIoT platforms, industrial communication protocols, cloud IoT services, data analytics tools, cybersecurity for industrial systems, or automation technologies are highly desirable.
Proven ability to design IIoT architectures, device connectivity models, data collection frameworks, dashboards, monitoring solutions, and scalable deployment approaches for operational environments.
Strong knowledge of sensors, gateways, PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial networks, communication protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, and REST APIs, as well as cloud platforms, databases, dashboards, and data analytics tools.
Good understanding of operational technology environments, asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, data quality, system reliability, cybersecurity, scalability, and integration considerations for IIoT solutions.
Business-focused and technology-enabled approach, leveraging connected systems, operational data, and analytics to improve asset utilisation, operational performance, predictive maintenance, and decision‑making across business units.
