Job summary

OSK Holdings Berhad seeks a Manager, Data & AI to lead the data and AI agenda, partnering with business and technology teams to transform data into actionable insights and AI-powered solutions.

You will own the Data & AI strategy, governance standards, and oversee platforms, dashboards, and AI initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions and automation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field.
• 8–10 years in Data Analytics/BI/Data Management/AI/Digital Transformation with leadership.
• Professional certifications in Data/AI/Analytics/Cloud are desirable (e.g. Azure Data & AI, Databricks).
• Proven success leading transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
• Strong governance, quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency in data analytics, BI, dashboards, and visualization (Power BI, SQL, Python).

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES:

Lead the organization's data and AI agenda to drive business value, innovation, and operational excellence. Partner with business and technology teams to transform data into actionable insights and AI-powered solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• Develop and execute Data & AI strategy aligned with business objectives. Identify, prioritize, and deliver analytics and AI use cases.
• Establish data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Oversee data platforms, dashboards, reporting, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Lead AI adoption, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage Data & AI projects, vendors, budgets, and resources.
• Build and develop high-performing data, analytics, and AI teams.
• Monitor performance and value realization of Data & AI initiatives.
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Data and AI.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, or related roles, including leadership responsibilities.
• Professional certifications in Data, AI, Analytics, Cloud Technologies, or Data Governance are highly desirable (e.g. Microsoft Azure Data & AI, Databricks, CDMP).
• Proven success in leading complex transformation programs and re-engineering initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Proven success in developing and executing enterprise Data & AI strategies that deliver measurable business value and operational improvements.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management, data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, dashboard development, and data visualization using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Python.
