Job summary

OSK Holdings Berhad seeks an IIoT Solutions Engineer to design architectures, deploy edge devices, and integrate OT with enterprise platforms for real-time operational visibility. You will develop dashboards, monitor performance, and lead pilot deployments across business units.

A strong background in sensors, PLCs, SCADA, MQTT/OPC UA is required, with a focus on data quality and cybersecurity. The role requires 3–5 years in IIoT or related digital operations, holding a relevant engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IIoT solution development, industrial automation, OT/IT integration, sensor deployment, data acquisition, industrial networking, manufacturing systems, or related digital operations roles.
• Certifications or hands-on experience in IIoT platforms, industrial communication protocols, cloud IoT services, data analytics tools, cybersecurity for industrial systems, or automation technologies are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to design IIoT architectures, device connectivity models, data collection frameworks, dashboards, monitoring solutions, and scalable deployment approaches for operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design IIoT architectures, device connectivity models, and data collection frameworks to support real-time operational visibility and decision-making.
• Evaluate, deploy, and configure sensors, gateways, edge devices, and industrial communication technologies for secure data collection.
• Integrate OT systems with enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud services, dashboards, and analytics tools for end-to-end visibility.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring solutions for real-time insights and performance trends.
• Lead IIoT proof-of-concepts, pilots, and deployments to validate feasibility, value, and scalability.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, cybersecurity, vendors, and stakeholders to identify use cases and prioritise initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of IIoT solutions with validation and monitoring practices.
• Monitor solution effectiveness, system performance, user adoption, and business outcomes; recommend continuous improvements.
