Bright Prospect in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise and data center networks, ensuring high availability and security.
You will manage routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and firewalls; monitor performance; perform RCA; and support migrations and upgrades. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are required, with CCNP/ACP/ITIL as plus.

Manage, administer, and support enterprise and data center network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.
Implement, configure, and maintain routing, switching, wireless, and network security solutions.
Perform proactive network monitoring, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization to ensure service reliability.
Troubleshoot complex network incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support network implementation, migration, infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh, and expansion projects.
Maintain network security by supporting firewalls, VPNs, network access control, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening activities.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and operational records.
Collaborate with internal teams, technology vendors, and service providers to deliver network projects and operational improvements.
Ensure all network changes follow established operational standards, security policies, and change management processes.
Participate in on-call support and occasional travel for project implementation or operational requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise or data center network implementation, administration, operations, and support.
Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching, including TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, LAN/WAN, and VPN technologies.
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and network access control.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolving complex network issues.
Experience in network implementation, migration, infrastructure upgrades, and technology refresh projects.
Familiarity with enterprise network monitoring, management, and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions.
Experience working within IT service management processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management, is an advantage.
Professional certifications such as CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional (ACP), ITIL Foundation, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
