Job summary

Thundersoft in Malaysia is seeking an engineer to own and support Physical Verification (DRC/LVS) and Parasitic Extraction (PEX) flows in a custom layout environment. You will maintain these flows and build regression testbenches to ensure tool quality, while providing training to designers across multiple sites and time zones.

The role also involves evaluating new EDA features and driving adoption, plus enhancing workflows with automation and AI-assisted improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Physical Verification (DRC/LVS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with PEX (parasitic extraction).
• Experience with Calibre (or equivalent PV tool).
• Experience with StarRC (or equivalent PEX tool).
• Scripting: Python / Tcl / Perl (any of these).

Responsibilities

• Own and support PV/PEX flows in a custom layout environment.
• Maintain and improve PV/PEX flows across multiple technology nodes.
• Build and maintain regression testbenches to ensure tool/flow quality.
• Provide user support & training to designers across multiple sites/time zones.
• Evaluate new EDA tool features and drive adoption.
• Improve user experience via automation / AI-assisted workflow enhancements.
