Job summary

Airswift is recruiting a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to deliver robust flow assurance support across project scopes. You will conduct simulations, develop models, validate data, and drive technical decisions with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires Chartered/Professional Engineer status and a minimum of seven years in flow assurance, with proficiency in OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSim, and Multiflash. Strong communication and proactive teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Chemical Engineering or related subject.
• Essential: Chartered Engineer and/or Professional Engineer status.
• Essential: Minimum of 7 years of dedicated Flow Assurance experience.
• Essential: Strong knowledge of flow assurance simulation software including OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSim, and Multiflash.
• Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Business Suite.
• Essential: Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Essential: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Essential: Proactive approach, enthusiasm, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Essential: Strong commitment to HSES.
• Desirable: Knowledge of alternative software such as Synergi Pipeline Simulator or Pipenet.
• Desirable: Programming knowledge, including VBA or Python.
• Desirable: Ability to take initiative and work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Flow Assurance activities per project requirements.
• Perform steady-state and transient flow simulations and develop models.
• Prepare and maintain the Flow Assurance Simulation Basis.
• Review and validate input data for technical accuracy.
• Develop engineering solutions to meet project needs and resolve issues.
• Liaise with other disciplines to manage interfaces.
• Interpret simulation results to support decisions.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
• Review junior engineers' work and provide guidance.
• Support meetings, design reviews, and project documentation.
• Provide input to change management and scope assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in Flow Assurance methodologies.
