Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist / Integration Support Engineer

, connecting internal systems, customers, and partners to enable seamless digital logistics operations.

The successful candidate will provide second-level application and middleware support, platform monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution. The role requires someone who can independently take ownership of complex production issues and work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure service availability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 application and middleware support for the DHL LINK integration platform.
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and error rates to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical and integration issues.
• Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and engineering teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical stakeholders to resolve production issues.
• Support and optimize integration patterns and middleware components.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Ensure agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational targets are consistently achieved.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and support documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve platform stability, availability, and support processes.
• Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and operational activities as required.

Required Technical Skills Integration / Middleware

Candidates should have strong experience in integration and middleware support, with expertise in at least one of the following areas:

• IBM ITX / WTX
• EDI industry standards and data formats, including:
  • ANSI X12
  • EDIFACT
  • RosettaNet
  • XML
  • IDocs
  • Fixed-length and delimited formats
