Job summary

You will develop procedures, drive digitalization and automation, and oversee adherence to standards for incident, change, and maintenance activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize resources and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, IT Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, electrical equipment, HVAC, and building automation/control systems; or solid IT infrastructure/network knowledge.
• Ability to learn quickly, communicate well, and take ownership in a fast-changing environment.
• Bilingual or multilingual is a plus, with Chinese proficiency considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize standardized operating procedures and management frameworks for hyperscale data center operations.
• Drive digitalization, automation, and intelligent operations management.
• Oversee implementation of standards and targets for incident, problem, change, risk, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient resource use.
• Participate in design, development, construction, and commissioning of data center infrastructure including power, buildings, HVAC, monitoring, networks, and servers.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement of architecture and operations.
• Provide insights to improve operational excellence and competitiveness of Alibaba’s IDC platform.
