Job summary

B-Global Tech is seeking a proactive IT Assistant to support and maintain the organization’s technology infrastructure in a hybrid setup in Kuala Lumpur. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring reliable IT operations across departments.

The role covers systems administration, networking, IT security, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
1–3 years in IT support, help desk, or similar role expected.
Experience with ITSM ticketing systems is a plus.
Exposure to enterprise IT environments and cross-department support is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and deploy laptops and IT equipment for new hires.
Provide first-line technical support for computers, printers, networks, and email systems.
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, backups, and basic data recovery.
Support IT security measures and identify system vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with departments on projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and system changes in ticketing systems.
