Job summary

Marsh seeks a Technical Specialist to support Hong Kong General Insurance Claims from Kuala Lumpur in a hybrid work setup. You will interpret policy wording, verify settlements, and coordinate with insurers, clients and service providers to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in General Insurance claims, plus proficiency in reading/writing Simplified/Traditional Chinese for HK documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
• 7+ years experience in General Insurance claims.
• Ability to read and write Simplified/Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret policy wording and apply indemnity principles accurately.
• Verify settlements and reimbursements from insurers are correct.
• Monitor unsettled claims and chase information from insurers and clients.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Produce monthly claims statistics and maintain claims records.
• Identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Contribute to projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
