Job summary

Marsh Malaysia is seeking an Insurance Operations Specialist to join our Middle Office in Kuala Lumpur. This hybrid role requires you to work at least three days in the office and support Client Executives and Brokers with policy placement and excellent client service.

You will handle client onboarding, placement activities, and policy servicing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ of experience in insurance operations.
• Proficient communication skills in English and Cantonese to support the Hong Kong market; Chinese literacy is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Client On-Boarding: set up new clients on systems, monitor onboarding progress, liaise with country teams, assist with setup in broking systems, update MPower as needed.
• Placement: prepare quotes, contracts and bids using templates; endorse, renew and verify risk and premium details; assist with digital platform placements and maintain records in the broking system.
• Policy Servicing: monitor workflow, direct policy servicing teams, respond to queries, authorize documents and distribute to markets; liaise with insurers and clients; support fiduciary queries when needed.
