Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Claims Advocacy Consultant (FINPRO) in Kuala Lumpur. The role sits within the Risk business and requires a hybrid work setup with at least three days in the office.

The successful candidate will provide regional FINPRO claims advocacy across Asia, handling complex FINPRO matters, advising clients on policy wordings, and coordinating claim strategies with insurers and lawyers to optimise settlements.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of legal experience or solid FINPRO insurance claims handling.
• Strong understanding of legal/regulatory frameworks and litigation management.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict management capabilities.
• Analytical, with ability to assess complex information.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of complex FINPRO claims across D&O, PI, Crime, Cyber and related lines.
• Advise clients on rights and obligations under FINPRO policies with technical claims guidance.
• Formulate claims strategies and coordinate with insureds, insurers, lawyers and coverage counsel for settlements.
• Review policy wordings and propose improvements; liaise with placement brokers.
• Build relationships with clients, insurers, coverage counsel, and internal partners; support reporting, trend analysis and ad-hoc projects.
