Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Hybrid FinOps Manager to lead our infrastructure financial operations across a diverse landscape. You will unify CapEx and OpEx perspectives into a single view of IT spend.

The role requires building TCO models, budgeting and forecasting, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization across cloud and on-premise environments. You will partner with DevOps, Engineering, Finance and Leadership to drive accountability and informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Finance, Cloud Ops or FinOps, with hybrid exposure.
• Deep knowledge of pricing models for major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of data center economics, depreciation, and facilities costs.
• Strong accounting basics: CapEx vs OpEx, depreciation, EBITDA impact.
• Familiarity with FinOps/ITFM tools and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost optimization across public cloud, private cloud and on-prem data centers.
• Develop and maintain a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.
• Own budgeting and monthly forecasting for infrastructure spend.
• Drive cost governance, dashboards and accountability across engineering teams.
