Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a College Grad Physical Design Engineer to implement and verify structural physical designs for next-generation Client CPU SoCs, including synthesis, floor planning, power-grid, PnR, and timing analysis.

You will contribute to RC extraction, DFM, DRC cleanup, FEV, PV, SI/noise verification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable design flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with industrial EDA tools for synthesis, PnR, and timing analysis.
• Knowledge of DFM, STA, RC extraction, DRC cleanup, and power-grid optimization.

Responsibilities

• Implement structural physical designs including synthesis, floor planning, power-grid, and clock-tree designs.
• Perform place-and-route (PnR), static timing analysis (STA), timing budgeting and closure.
• Conduct RC extraction, DFM analysis, and DRC clean-up.
• Verify physical designs using FEV, PV, SI/noise analysis, LV, and RV.
