Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
• 1+ years of experience using EDA tools from vendors such as Synopsys, Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and support tools, flows, and methodologies for backend physical design and RTL2GDS techniques.
• Analyze synthesis, place-and-route, floor planning, or signoff for STA, power, ESD, and timing issues.
• Collaborate with design teams to debug tool issues and constraints.
• Work with EDA vendors to enhance tool capabilities for high-speed, low-power CPUs.
• Create documentation and guidelines/specs for processes.
• Communicate with team members to drive issues to resolution; leverage AI to improve efficiency.
