Job summary

Nintex is seeking an Automation Test Engineer in Malaysia to drive automated testing across end-to-end and integration scenarios. You will build and maintain test frameworks, write code-based tests, and ensure seamless CI/CD integration within a hybrid work model at our local Nintex office.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve non-functional testing, observe tests via logs and metrics, and mentor junior testers while upholding Nintex security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation, with strong framework knowledge.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Experience writing code-based tests using C# or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Ability to create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for test failures.
• Understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability); chaos testing is a plus.
• Familiar with test observability – logs, traces, metrics.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and testing implications.
• Experience with API testing, event-driven testing, contract testing, and service mocking.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end and integration tests independently.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth operation.
• Write code to mock services for testing.
• Diagnose root causes of defects and enable timely fixes.
• Assist in automating non-functional tests with aligned tools.
• Attend and contribute to daily scrum, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Learn from others’ testing and test automation best practices.
• Own testing activities and collaborate on acceptance criteria.
• Communicate work status to team and delivery manager.
• Coach junior team members on product domain and testing.
• Promote Nintex culture through the Nintex tenets.
