Job summary
Mercedes-Benz Tech Malaysia (MBTMY) is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain automated testing solutions across enterprise software. You will collaborate with product owners and developers to define robust test strategies and build scalable frameworks for UI and API testing.
The role requires hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium, CI/CD, and security/testing best practices in a cross-functional agile environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of software testing or QA experience.
- Experience with UI and API test automation.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration for tests.
Responsibilities
- Implement and improve automated testing solutions for enterprise software.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to define test strategies.
- Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks and components.
- Automate UI, API, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.
- Perform defect tracking, root-cause analysis and quality risk assessment.
- Create test strategies, cases, metrics, and technical documentation.
