Job summary

Lam Research seeks an Assembler to contribute to the assembly of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components on wafer fabrication equipment in a lean clean-room setting. You will follow instructions, use hand tools and fixtures, and ensure precise setups with tight tolerances to deliver high-quality Lam products.

You will also train other assemblers, participate in cross-training across final and sub-assembly areas, and help identify and resolve non-conformances.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts/hardware for wafer fabrication equipment using schematics and hand tools.
• Adapt to changing priorities to maintain workflow and schedules.
• Inspect parts visually and ensure correct delivery before installation.
• Perform visual inspections, checklist verifications, leak checks, and document findings.
• Cross-train across multiple assembly work centers and mentor peers.
• Support improvements to work instructions and safety practices.
