Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an ASRS Technician to maintain and troubleshoot automated material handling systems including ASRS, AGV, AMR, and MHE. You will support PMs, conduct daily health checks, and manage spare parts to minimize downtime, while adhering to safety and WA H guidelines.

The role emphasizes root-cause problem solving, Kaizen/Lean involvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high reliability and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Mechatronics).
• 3–5 years’ experience with ASRS, AGV, AMR or MHE.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting PMs, daily checks, and spare parts.
• Exposure to Kaizen / Lean (Yellow Belt or Green Belt is a plus).
• Comfortable with Working at Height (WAH) activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for ASRS/AGV/AMR and MHE to ensure timely system recovery and minimal disruption.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities and ensure follow-up actions are closed to improve reliability.
• Perform daily system health checks and checklists, identify abnormalities, and escalate risks.
• Support spare parts management by identifying critical spares and ensuring parts availability to minimize downtime.
• Participate in Kaizen/Lean initiatives and structured problem-solving for long-term improvements.
• Collaborate with others to ensure automation systems operate safely and reliably.
