Job summary

Lam Research in Kulim, Malaysia seeks an assembler for electrical/mechanical assembly on wafer fabrication equipment in a lean clean-room environment. You will use schematics, hand tools and fixtures to install parts while maintaining tight tolerances and documenting production steps.

The role requires 2–4 years of assembly experience, an engineering-related diploma or certificate, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts/hardware for WFE using schematics and hand tools.
• Maintain accurate production status and signoffs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Cross-train across multiple work centers and support continuous improvement activities.
• Identify non-conformance items and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE; adhere to LOTO policies.
