Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities in Melaka. You will perform proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

The role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on preventive maintenance, repairs, and supportive activities in a regulated environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade school diploma; 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for HVAC and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Follow defined procedures and work under supervision and guidance.
• Maintain safety and adherence to work procedures.
