SP Logistics Sdn Bhd is seeking a Human Resources Manager/Assistant Manager to ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws, manage end-to-end foreign worker processes, and handle disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
You will support management in labour disputes, maintain employee records, liaise with government authorities, and develop HR policies in compliance with employment laws. You will oversee recruitment and full lifecycle, from posting to onboarding and retention.
This role involves ensuring company HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations, managing end-to-end foreign worker processes, and handling disciplinary and industrial relations matters. You will support management in labour disputes, maintain employee records, liaise with government authorities, and develop HR policies in compliance with employment laws.
Key responsibilities
Ensure company HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations, including the Employment Act and other relevant legislation
Manage end-to-end foreign worker processes including quota application, FWCMS processing, visa application, and PLKS renewal
Ensure compliance with statutory bodies such as Immigration Department, JTK, FOMEMA, SOCSO, and other relevant authorities
Handle disciplinary matters including investigations, counselling, issuance of show-cause letters, and coordination of Domestic Inquiry (DI)
Prepare Industrial Relations documentation including warning letters, investigation notes, disciplinary reports, and related IR records
Support management in labour disputes or matters involving the Labour Office and Industrial Court
Coordinate foreign worker arrival, onboarding, placement, welfare, accommodation, and attendance monitoring
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with employment laws and regulations
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate selection
Handle employee lifecycle matters including confirmation, resignation, retirement, and retrenchment processes
About you
Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Industrial Relations, Law or equivalent
Minimum 3 year's experience in HR field and Foreign Worker management
Strong understanding of Labour Law, IR procedures and immigration processes
Good communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
Able to handle confidential information with professionalism
