Senai, Johor-based client in IT infrastructure manufacturing seeks an experienced Safety and Health Officer to lead HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with Malaysian laws.

You will develop, implement, and monitor policies, risk assessments, and workplace safety programmes, conduct audits and investigations, and drive environmental management and training across the site. DOSH Green Book SHO registration is essential, preferably with EMS experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DOSH Green Book registration as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Experience in HSE within manufacturing; EMS industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OHS legislation and environmental regulations.
• Experience in HSE audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and management systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee HSE activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and monitor HSE policies, risk assessments, and safety programmes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and CAPA.
• Monitor environmental management, waste handling, and pollution prevention.
• Provide HSE training and awareness to staff and management.
• Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare HSE reports and drive continuous improvement.
