Job summary

KPay Group is seeking an exceptional HRIS Master based in Kuala Lumpur to own and scale the next-generation global HR technology ecosystem.

This is a mission-critical role requiring end-to-end HRIS build, data governance, and regional analytics across APAC markets. You will bridge People & Culture with engineering, standardise processes, and drive agile delivery in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in HRIS/HR operations with implementation experience.
• APAC payroll experience with data mapping and reporting skills.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to produce leadership dashboards.
• Familiarity with BI tools and agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS build end-to-end, bridging People & Culture and engineering.
• Own regional HR reporting, dashboards, and data governance.
• Map, standardise and digitise onboarding, off-boarding, leave, payroll inputs.
• Ensure data security, cross-border compliance, and audit-ready documentation.

At KPay Group, our technology infrastructure moves as fast as our markets. We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on HRIS Master based in Kuala Lumpur to build, own, and scale the next-generation global HR technology ecosystem.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a mission-critical mandate for a true owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In-House HRIS Build & Product Ownership: Own the HRIS build end-to-end, acting as the critical bridge between People & Culture and engineering to translate needs into technical specifications and lead rollout across markets.
• Data, Reporting & Analytics: Own regional HR reporting, build leadership dashboards, and maintain a single source of truth for headcount, turnover, payroll, and compliance data.
• Process Standardisation & Automation: Map, standardise, and digitise transactional HR operations (onboarding, off-boarding, leave, benefits, payroll inputs) to lay the operating backbone for our Shared Services Centre (SSC).
• Data Governance & Compliance: Safeguard data security, ensure cross-border compliance, and keep all documentation audit-ready.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience & Implementation: Preferably 6-10 years of HRIS, HR operations, analytics, or systems implementation, with a proven track record of building or implementing HR systems from scratch (ideally as a product owner or business analyst).
• Payroll & Data Mastery: Multi-country APAC payroll experience coupled with strong data mapping, Excel, and reporting skills (BI tools a plus).
• Agile Execution: Thriving in a high-velocity fintech environment requiring solid project management and agile delivery.
• Multilingual Fluency: Professional proficiency in English, plus Mandarin and/or Cantonese to support regional collaboration.
