Job summary

Nufarm is seeking an experienced HRIS & Payroll Systems Analyst (Dayforce) to join our Global Enterprise IT team in Malaysia. You will lead SIT and Parallel Run testing, ensure payroll data accuracy, and transition to ongoing Dayforce support after go-live.

Be the liaison between Payroll SMEs, IT, and implementation partners, maintaining system stability and driving continuous improvement across the payroll landscape.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Business/IS/Engineering/Finance or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience with Dayforce Payroll or comparable HRIS/payroll system.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, awards, compliance, and payroll rules.
• Experience coordinating or executing Systems Integration Testing and Parallel Run testing.
• Experience developing test scenarios, scripts, and data-validation or reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of IT processes including incident management, change control, and release management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with Payroll SMEs, technical teams, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Parallel Run testing approach, validating Dayforce payroll outcomes against legacy systems.
• Develop test scenarios, scripts, reconciliation processes, and data-validation frameworks.
• Track testing progress and manage defects, risks, dependencies, and resolutions.
• Provide status reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyse, and document payroll, system, and integration requirements.
• Identify gaps between business requirements, payroll outcomes, and system configuration.
• Support Payroll SMEs in understanding Dayforce functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
• Facilitate collaboration between Payroll SMEs, HR, IT Applications, and partners.
• Provide post-go-live Dayforce support by triaging incidents and enhancement requests.

HRIS & Payroll Systems Analyst (Dayforce)

We're looking for an experienced Dayforce Implementation Support Analyst to join our Global Enterprise IT team based in Malaysia. This is an exciting opportunity to support the successful implementation and ongoing operation of our Dayforce payroll system. During the implementation phase, you'll lead and coordinate Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and Parallel Run testing, ensuring payroll data and outcomes are accurate, complete, and reliable. Following go-live, the role will transition into ongoing application support, where you'll act as a key liaison between Payroll SMEs, IT teams, implementation partners, and Dayforce Support. You'll help maintain system stability, resolve issues, support releases, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Systems Integration Testing across payroll and connected upstream and downstream systems
• Define and execute the Parallel Run testing approach, validating Dayforce payroll outcomes against legacy systems
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, reconciliation processes, and data-validation frameworks
• Track testing progress and manage defects, risks, dependencies, and resolution activities
• Provide clear status reports, insights, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
• Elicit, analyse, and document payroll, system, and integration requirements
• Identify gaps between business requirements, payroll outcomes, and system configuration
• Support Payroll SMEs in understanding Dayforce functionality, capabilities, and limitations
• Facilitate collaboration between Payroll SMEs, HR, IT Applications, infrastructure and integration teams, Dayforce Support, and implementation partners
• Provide post-go-live Dayforce support by triaging incidents, defects, and enhancement requests

About you

• A tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement
• Hands-on experience working with Dayforce Payroll or a comparable HRIS or payroll system
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, awards, compliance requirements, and payroll rules
• Experience coordinating or executing Systems Integration Testing and Parallel Run testing
• Experience developing test scenarios, scripts, and data-validation or reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of IT processes, including incident management, change control, and release management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with Payroll SMEs, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners
