Job summary

MeHow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment, onboarding, training, and HR operations in Penang, Malaysia. You will coordinate interview logistics, maintain records, and assist with training programs and employee engagement activities.

The role also covers HR administration, documentation, dashboards, and compliance tasks, with exposure to ISO processes and cross‑functional collaboration with teams in China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Psychology, or related field.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; able to liaise with teams in China.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment activities including interview arrangements, candidate coordination and documentation.
• Support new employee onboarding, orientation and induction arrangements.
• Maintain recruitment and onboarding records.
• Assist in organizing internal and external training programs.
• Support training administration, attendance tracking, documentation and evaluations.
• Assist in maintaining employee training records and skills matrices.
• Support employee engagement activities, company events and internal communication initiatives.
• Assist in preparing employee announcements, surveys and engagement materials.
• Support general employee welfare and HR-related administrative matters.
• Assist in maintaining employee records, HR databases and documentation.
• Support HR reporting, data entry, filing and document management.
• Assist in updating job descriptions, organizational charts and HR-related trackers.
• Provide administrative support for expatriate and work-pass documentation, where applicable.
• Assist in HR improvement initiatives, digitalization projects and process enhancements.
• Support ISO documentation, internal audits and HR compliance activities.
• Conduct basic research, data collection and analysis for HR projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and company records.
