Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries in a client-facing BPO environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

You will collaborate with country HR, vendors, and audits, navigate multi-country regulations, and drive continuous improvement with agility and attention to detail.

Strong Mandarin and English, plus proficiency in payroll systems and Excel, are essential to support SEA and ANZ markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience, preferably with exposure to multi-country operations across SEA and ANZ.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English due to China market exposure.
• Solid understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory reporting.
• Proficient in payroll systems and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); HRIS such as Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle.

• Reconcile payroll data across finance and HR systems to ensure audit readiness.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
• 1 - 5 years of experience, preferably with exposure to multi-country operations across SEA and ANZ.
• Strong proficiency in both Mandarin and English languages due to supporting markets including China.
• Solid understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP); hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle, or similar
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Demonstrated agility in managing shifting priorities, service volumes, and country-specific compliance requirements
