Marco Global Payroll (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations for clients across multiple countries. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, payments, and statutory filings.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field and 1–2 years of regional payroll experience. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
As a Payroll Executive, you will manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned clients across multiple countries, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams across the full payroll cycle, from gathering payroll changes to processing, payments, statutory and tax filings, and GL reporting.
Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for assigned clients and countries, from payroll data collection and validation through to final payroll processing.
Gather and review payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, allowances, deductions, attendance, and other payroll changes.
Prepare and validate payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable local regulations and client requirements.
Prepare bank payment files and coordinate salary disbursements, reimbursements, and statutory payments.
Manage statutory and tax filings, including social insurance, housing fund, payroll taxes, and other country-specific requirements.
Prepare and review payroll reports and GL files for client submission and accounting purposes.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, finance, and internal teams to resolve payroll issues and ensure timely delivery.
Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax requirements, and labour laws across assigned countries.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
1-2 years of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably with multi-country or regional payroll exposure.
Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and payroll cycles in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
