Job summary

Fragomen Malaysia is seeking a dynamic HR Assistant Manager to support the Senior HR Manager across Kuala Lumpur offices, focusing on the regional Shared Services function. You will drive people strategies, partner with business leaders, and help shape talent development and performance culture.

In this role you will collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to implement HR initiatives that align with local priorities and client service standards, while ensuring an exceptional employee

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field.
At least 5 years HR generalist or HR business partnering experience.
Experience supporting Shared Services or multinational organisations is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience operating within matrix or regional structures is desirable.

Responsibilities

Act as a proactive HR partner to consulting teams, corporate functions, and Shared Services leaders.
Guide workforce planning, organisational design, employee engagement, and capability development.
Support leaders in performance management, coaching, and lifecycle decisions.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and onboarding.
Coordinate talent reviews, career development, and succession planning.
Manage HR operations in partnership with payroll and HRIS teams.
Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and market benchmarking.
