Job summary

Midea APAC in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a payroll and HR operations specialist to support day-to-day employee services across APAC markets. You will manage onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, data accuracy in HRIS, and collaborate with local HR, finance and HQ to ensure compliant, timely processing.

The role requires 2+ years payroll experience, fluency in English and Chinese, and strong Excel/data management skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience across APAC markets.
• Fluent in English and Chinese with ability to communicate with HQ stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employee services and HR operations support across APAC countries.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, probation, transfers, offboarding, and related transactions.
• Coordinate and support monthly payroll processes, validating inputs and ensuring timely processing.
• Collaborate with local HR, finance and HQ to ensure smooth payroll operations and compliance.
