Job summary

Midea Electric Trading (Singapore) Co. Pte Ltd is seeking a payroll-oriented HR Operations professional to support employees across APAC. You will handle onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and compliance with local tax and statutory requirements.

The role requires bilingual (English and Chinese) communication with HQ stakeholders, strong Excel/Data management skills, and experience with HRIS/payroll systems. This will be a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience across APAC markets (e.g., HK, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand).
• Fluent in English and Chinese with ability to communicate with HQ stakeholders.
• Experience in HR Operations or Employee Services is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of payroll-related taxes, social security and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employee services and HR operations support across APAC.
• Manage onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and payroll inputs and discrepancies.
• Coordinate monthly payroll processes and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Collaborate with local HR, finance, and HQ to resolve payroll issues.
• Support payroll tax, social security, and statutory filings; ensure compliance.
• Administer benefits and manage HRIS data accuracy across systems.
• Respond to employee inquiries on payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
• Identify process improvements for regional HR operations and payroll.
