Job summary

Metasigma in Malaysia is seeking an HR Assistant to support HR operations, onboarding, and payroll data handling while keeping records confidential. You will help engineers and operations teams by maintaining accurate files and handling routine HR tasks.

Fresh graduates and interns are welcome; you will coordinate interviews, assist with onboarding logistics, respond to HR queries, and contribute to engagement activities and training coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred.
• No prior full-time experience required; fresh graduates and interns welcome.
• Familiarity with HRIS, basic payroll concepts, and recruitment administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and update our HRIS, keeping files organised and confidential.
• Support payroll preparation by compiling attendance, leave, and benefits data for review.
• Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates, and prepare offer paperwork as requested.
• Manage onboarding logistics, including equipment requests and orientation schedules for new hires.
• Respond to routine HR queries, elevate issues when needed, and help keep team communications clear.
• Assist with basic HR projects such as engagement activities, training coordination, and compliance record keeping.
