Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites a motivated HR Intern to join our People Team in Kedah. You will gain hands-on exposure to HR operations, attendance management, payroll support, and audit-closure activities as part of SMETA initiatives.

With a degree in HR, Business Admin, or related fields, you will support documentation, policy reviews, and employee engagement efforts, while working closely with ER/IR, payroll, and admin teams to ensure accurate records and smooth processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Strong interest in Human Resources and business operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with guidance and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Proactive, disciplined, and eager to learn.
• Exposure to project-based assignments or group projects will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring working hours and attendance reports.
• Compile attendance and medical leave (MC) data for business review and follow-up actions.
• Support ER/IR and Payroll documentation scanning, filing, and record management.
• Assist with Employee Handbook distribution.
• Support policy review, clean-up, and translation activities.
• Coordinate employee forums and dialogue sessions.
• Prepare meeting minutes for Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) and other employee engagement forums.
• Support SMETA audit closure initiatives related to working hours, policies, and employee communications.
