Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource is seeking an HR Operations Executive to join our Contract Staffing team in Malaysia. The role covers end-to-end HR services for contract employees, from onboarding to offboarding, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and delivering an excellent contractor experience.

You will support contract employees, manage HR operations, drive engagement initiatives, and serve as a trusted HR partner to clients and internal stakeholders.

Are you a passionate HR professional with strong operational experience and a people-centric mindset?

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Executive to join our Contract Staffing team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality HR services throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while ensuring compliance with employment regulations and providing an exceptional contractor experience.

You will play a key role in supporting contract employees, managing HR operations, driving employee engagement initiatives, and serving as a trusted HR partner to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for contract employees in Malaysia.
• Issue employment contracts, employment letters, and HR-related documentation.
• Support employee onboarding, induction, transfers, renewals, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Administer employee benefits, including medical, insurance, and other applicable programs.

2. Contractor Experience & Employee Engagement

• Build strong relationships with contract employees and act as their HR point of contact.
• Provide proactive updates on contract renewals and employment-related matters.
• Communicate HR policies, benefits, leave entitlements, and company announcements.
• Organize employee engagement activities, including monthly contractor events, appreciation sessions, and birthday celebrations.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to improve employee experience and retention.

3. Operational Excellence

• Prepare and analyze employee attendance reports for clients.
• Investigate and resolve HR operational issues, discrepancies, and escalations.
• Liaise with government agencies and external stakeholders when required.
• Support Contract Staffing recruitment activities and other HR projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of HR Operations experience with exposure to employee lifecycle management.
• Understanding of the Employment Act 1955 and Malaysian labor regulations.
• Experience handling contract staffing, employee engagement, or HR shared services will be an added advantage.

Hybrid work arrangement - 4 days in the office & 1 day WFH (Friday)
