Job summary

Brain Recruit in Ipoh, Perak is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the company’s Human Resources functions and support business operations. The role requires strong HR management knowledge, employee relations, and Malaysian labour practice expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably at managerial level.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations.
• Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary matters and HR operations.
• Mandarin or Cantonese speaker is preferred.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee management.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
• Handle attendance, leave, payroll coordination and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Advise management on HR policies, employment matters and labour regulations.
• Lead and guide the HR team in daily HR operations.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and capable HR Manager to manage the company's overall Human Resources functions and support the business operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR management, employee relations and Malaysian labour practices, with the ability to work closely with management and employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee management
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and guidelines
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters and workplace issues
• Handle attendance, leave, payroll coordination and HR documentation
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
• Advise management on HR policies, employment matters and labour regulations
• Manage performance management and employee development initiativesHandle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures professionally
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Coordinate with relevant government bodies and statutory agencies when required
• Support manpower planning and organisational development
• Lead and guide the HR team in daily HR operations

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably at managerial level
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations
• Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary matters and HR operations
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage HR matters professionally
• Mandarin or Cantonese speaker is preferred
• Experience in the automotive, manufacturing or related industry will be an advantage
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
