Job summary

Adecco's client in Malaysia, a global commodities warehousing and logistics organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations in Malaysia. This role acts as a strategic partner to management, driving HR initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Budget: RM 10K - RM 11.5K. This role requires 10+ years of HR experience, a degree in HR/Business Administration, and proficiency with Oracle HCM. Travel to Johor and other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience across full HR spectrum.
• Degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws.
• Experience with Oracle HCM or similar HRIS.
• Willingness to travel to Johor and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, payroll and learning & development.
• Develop HR strategies and policies aligned with business objectives and advise management on workforce planning.
• Manage employee relations including grievances and investigations.
• Oversee monthly payroll and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy.
• Drive HR process improvements, employee engagement and org development with regional HR projects.
• Act as liaison between Malaysia operations and regional HR teams, supporting Oracle HCM usage.

Adecco's client, a global commodities warehousing and logistics organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations in Malaysia. This role will serve as a strategic HR business partner to management, driving HR initiatives while ensuring effective people management and compliance with local employment regulations.

Budget: RM 10K - RM 11.5K

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, payroll and learning & development.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business objectives, while advising management on workforce planning and organisational matters.
• Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, misconduct investigations and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee monthly payroll, salary reviews, bonuses, employee benefits and statutory compliance, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
• Drive HR process improvements, employee engagement and organisational development initiatives, while supporting regional HR projects & reporting requirements.
• Act as the key liaison between Malaysia operations and regional HR teams, including supporting the effective utilisation of Oracle HCM.

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Experience with Oracle HCM or comparable HRIS platforms.
• Prior experience in an MNC or regional organisation will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to Johor and other operational locations when required.
