Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead HR learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery. You will drive governance forums, oversee consultants, and maintain high-quality deliverables across cross-functional teams in HR and HR Tech.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder communication, and quality control, with Workday Learning knowledge preferred and PMP certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in HR projects, HR transformation, change management, HR operations, project delivery or related roles.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in HR-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Learning/Learning platforms preferred.
• Excellent project management skills including planning, scheduling and risk management.
• Strong quality control and attention to detail.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management initiatives aligned with strategic HR goals.
• Establish best practices for project frameworks, ensuring standardisation and efficiency.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of outcomes, addressing delays or issues promptly.
• Organise and facilitate governance forums such as Design Authority and SteerCo to enable strategic alignment on design and solution.
• Oversee the work of the consultants supporting the project, providing guidance and direction as needed.
• Ensure all deliverables are reviewed from a quality control standpoint, maintaining high standards of accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate strong stakeholder management, engaging with CoE, HR, and HR Tech teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across CoE, LBU HR, and HR Tech.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
